Privacy Policy

DAS Source™ · Last updated 5 August 2026

In short. We hold the account details you give us so you can log in and pay, and basic records of how the service is used. We do not sell your data. Where you enter client details or search third-party registers, you decide what goes in and why — you are the controller of that information and we process it on your instructions.

1. Who we are

DAS Source is operated by EAZ Finance Ltd (company number 14675152), registered office 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF. For the personal data described in section 3 we are the data controller. Contact us at hello@dassource.co.uk.

2. Who this policy is for

DAS Source is a business tool for FCA-authorised mortgage intermediaries and their staff. This policy covers subscribers, people who contact us, and visitors to our website. It is not aimed at consumers.

3. What we collect and why

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal effects, and we do not sell it.

4. Client and third-party information you enter

When you enter case details, or search a property, company or person, you decide what to look up and why. For that information you are the controller and we act as your processor: we process it only to return the result to you, we do not use it for our own purposes, and we do not build profiles from it. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for those searches and for complying with your own regulatory obligations.

Search results are drawn live from third-party public registers (see section 6). We keep search inputs only in short-lived operational logs; we do not maintain a searchable history of the people or properties you look up.

Land Registry ownership data. The ownership tools display information about registered proprietors under licence from HM Land Registry. That licence, and clause 8a of our Terms of Use, prohibit using it for direct marketing — including contacting proprietors to offer goods or services. Doing so may also breach data protection law, for which you would be responsible.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use only what the service needs to work: a session cookie or token from our login provider to keep you signed in, and essential preferences. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

7. International transfers

Some providers above are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the UK we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on standard contractual clauses with appropriate safeguards.

8. How long we keep it

Account and subscription records are kept while your subscription is active and then for up to six years to meet accounting and legal requirements. Operational logs are kept for a short period (normally no more than 12 months) for security and fault-finding. Enquiry emails are kept for up to two years.

9. Security

Access to the service requires an account and an active subscription. Data is encrypted in transit. Access to our systems is limited to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure; you must keep your login credentials confidential and must not share your account, as required by our Terms of Use.

10. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of or objection to processing, and portability, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Email hello@dassource.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration reference ZC214965. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, helpline 0303 123 1113). We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The version published here applies from its stated date; material changes will be notified to subscribers by email or in the service.
